Many years ago, in Italy, I had a vision while gazing out over the Tuscan countryside. I was visiting a charming Italian pensione in Fiesole, an ancient Etruscan settlement located in the hills above Florence. Each morning, the guests gathered on the rose-covered stone terrace and savored perfectly prepared cappuccinos, while church bells rang in the distant background. The fellowship, the glorious espresso, and the otherworldly atmosphere.....
It was nirvana.
Brew Ha Ha! was born in that humble town so many years ago. I rushed home from Italy and opened my first café in Greenville, Delaware six months later. My mission was to create a warm and friendly gathering place, a marriage of Italian quality and down-home Delaware friendly.
Now, many years later, Brew Ha Ha!’s series of unique cafes across the Brandywine Valley offer coffee lovers a boutique experience, where every drink is special and individualized attention is paid every step of the way. Each café is situated in a distinct neighborhood within Northern Delaware, and has its own individual look and feel. We delight in being a First State business, and in being named Best of Delaware 20 years in a row!
